Combining the several genres and sounds in techno and house music, São Paulo DJ, producer, curator and label/agency boss Amanda Mussi has been working hard to bring something fresh and new to the dance-floor for the past 11 years. Amanda is known as a strong presence in the queer underground music scene in São Paulo where she held a monthly party for 5 years and now she is a resident at some of the best events in Brazil: Mamba Negra, Dando and Kode (Rio); she often appears as a guest at events like Boiler Room, DGTL, Gop Tun Festival, Photon, Tansta, and many others.

She has taken her sound on the road to many cities around the world, performing next to artists like Jeff Mills, Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Volvox, Ellen Alien and many others. Now she is based in between Berlin, São Paulo and Asunción (Paraguay) where she grew up and has a strong connection with the local scene and also is a resident at Tango Club.

Amanda is also a very known presence in New York, at the infamous and best-regarded party Unter and in European cities like, Stockholm, Budapest, Amsterdam, Milan and Berlin where she constantly performs at HÖR Radio and Berghain, being one of the first female Brazilian DJs to perform there on the main floor.

Her music releases started in the past 6 years with her Paraguayan crew from LPZ Records, and right after she featured on labels like Renato Cohen’s Massa Records, The Lady Machine/Decka’s Unterwegs, PG Tune, Planet X. Her recently launched label, Macro Hits held a monthly residency on The Lot Radio in NYC for almost 2 years and keeps focusing on releasing Latinamerican dance music talents.

In between shows and producing, Amanda runs the .alt bookings agency, a collective dedicated to promoting cultural exchanges in South America’s dance music scene; which allows her to collaborate with world wide artists, and brings together many scenes from the globe.
